Our Services

The majority of our work is focused around beef cattle operations and leisure horse owners. Although these two animal groups make up the majority of our patients we also enjoy serving: sheep, goats, livestock dogs, swine, and all other farm or production animals. Though given a solid foundation in small animal veterinary medicine at Mississippi State University Dr. Stenger’s primary focus is large animal and production medicine. To meet the demand for these services we are choosing not to routinely service companion small animals at this time. We do provide basic emergency and preventative care to livestock dogs for our large animal clients.

To arrange an appointment call Dr. Stenger’s cell phone at 304-931-8484. If no one answers, please leave a message. It is important that you leave a message as many of our clients are in locations that do not have cell phone service. Dr. Stenger can access these messages on the road and will return your call as soon as feasible. Please make sure that your message clearly states your name and contact information at the beginning and end of your message, and please include the reason for your call and severity of problem, so it can be scheduled appropriately. Also include a brief description of your location if you are a first time client, as Dr. Stenger may be nearby and could stop by on his way to or from another call.

Dr. Stenger will be on call for potential emergencies on weekends and holidays; however, if you have a non-emergency it is best to call Tuesday through Saturday during normal operating hours of 8am. to 6pm.
